404 W. 13th 512-444-4FOX (4369) 512-476-9264 (fax) email: defense@brucesfox.com See Also SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS below The office is located on West 13th Street, two blocks north of the Travis County Courthouse (at 11th and Guadalupe), and two blocks west of the State Capitol, between Guadalupe and San Antonio. We are almost directly across from the Penthouse Suites and the Executive Office Building, which houses the Travis County Adult Supervision and Corrections Department. The two-story, off-white building sits in the middle of the block on the north side of the street. There is a burgundy awning, and a green metal roof. Look for the sign on the front lawn. We have an access ramp to the right of the entryway. In 1994, I purchased the building at 404 W. 13th Street from the Department of Public Safety Officer’s Association. I was fortunate to get favorable financing because the President of First State Bank, Joe Long, had once practiced law from this space, and wanted to see it turned back into a lawyer’s office. We have made lots of improvements since then, including foundation, roof, wood floors and landscaping. We think you will find it clean, pleasant and friendly. Parking is usually available on the street. The meters quit eating coins after 5:30 p.m. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONSOFFICE HOURS AND PRACTICE Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours meetings by appointments. The best time to call me at the office is between 2:30 and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If I am not available, you can speak with Andrea or Mykal. Be advised, however, that only an attorney is authorized to give legal advice. I like to set my appointments after the business day (5 p.m.) on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. You can usually set an appointment with Andrea. If we need to meet any other time, we can arrange that as well. If you experience a delay in our lobby, I apologize in advance. Emergencies arise unpredictable in the job. |
